PNL applications
Privacy notice
This implementation is prepared for Yesid Telecom to act as the data controller for fixed voice service applications. Before production launch, Yesid must replace this draft with its approved NDPA privacy notice and publish its Data Protection Officer contact.
Information used
Yesid collects contact and installation details, NIN or representative NIN, corporate registration information, required supporting documents, consent evidence, verification references, and application audit events. Identity values and uploaded files are encrypted at rest.
Purpose and sharing
The data is used to verify applicants, assess fixed voice eligibility, meet regulatory registration obligations, prevent fraud, and provision approved service. Only the minimum necessary data should be shared with Yesid's contracted identity processors, service providers, and competent regulators.
Biometrics and liveness
The Yesid application stores the verification result and provider reference, not raw liveness video. Any biometric retention must remain disabled unless Yesid has confirmed a lawful basis and obtained every required regulatory permission.
Storage and retention
Production data should be hosted in Nigeria. Cross-border transfer must remain disabled unless Yesid completes the required assessment and obtains prior NCC consent where applicable. Yesid must approve a retention schedule before launch; rejected application records in this implementation are marked for purge after 180 days.
Your rights
Applicants may request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability, or deletion where applicable under Nigerian data protection law. Operational and regulatory records may need to be retained where required by law.
Draft for implementation review—not approved legal text.
